Jalapeño Popper Mac & Cheese
Spicy yet creamy, this delicious vegan mac & "cheese" piles on the plant-based bacon for your vegan junk food enjoyment.
Mac & Cheese
- 1 box of Modern Table Southwest Vegan Mac
- 1/4 cup vegan Cream Cheese (We love Kite Hill)
- 1/2 lb of your favorite vegan bacon alternative, cooked and chopped
Buy the Noodles
- 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
- Vegan cheddar cheese shreds
- Gluten-free bread crumbs or Panko
- Prepare Modern Table Southwest Vegan Mac as directed on box.
- Once your Vegan Mac is combined, stir in 1/4 cup cream cheese.
- Fold in shredded cheddar and crumbled bacon, reserving some bacon for the garnish.
- Serve into bowls. Garnish with sliced jalapeños, bread crumbs, and remaining bacon crumbles.
